Hi I am looking to buy a maltese or poodle in Calcasieu Parish.
( Louisiana). It's for my Moms bitthday so I'm kinda on tight budget ;). Thanx!!Poodle/Maltese for sale???
go to petfinder.com.....this is a site for rescue groups......just enter your Zip code, and breed wanted, and be AMAZED at how many great choices you have !!.....i recently adopted a Great Pyrenees mix from them, and my dog Sylvester is awesome !!.....check it out.....try it.....do a good deed.....adopt a Poodle/Maltese today !!!.....good luck to you, in your search for a Poodle/Maltese as a new pet !!!!.....most adoptions run between $ 50 to $ 200 maximum, for a wonderfull dog, who will be very happy to be your new pet !!!Poodle/Maltese for sale???
Regional animal shelters..........they have networks that can find anything.......and you're helping a dog.
I agree with lichyetech. Check shelters and rescue groups. You do pay a fee, but they are altered and have all of their shots. Plus you are saving a life. You can go on line and type in poodles and Maltese. If they are out of your area,a lot of them can still arrange transport. Many people are willing to move dogs from one point to another and do it as their ';rescue'; for homeless animals.
Make sure your mom actually wants a dog first and then I'd check the local animal shelter. They get all kinds of mixes in and you might find a maltese/poodle mix or something similar for an adoption fee.

You are not going to get a purebred, registered Maltese for less than 400 Euros! They are popular, they don't have many pups in a litter and they are one of the must-have breeds at the moment. You may be able to get an older ***** for that price if you contact local reputable breeders, but they won't be sold as breeding b1tches if that is what you are looking for.

I am not sure how great these breeders are, or how much they charge but there are a couple of maltese breeders listed. Might be worth a shot?

EDIT:
Here I thought I was clever in finding this site, and someone beat me to it! ;-)
Try your local animal shelter.
Hope this helps!

Why don't you google a breed association for your area?
I have to agree with ';anwen55'; you will not find a maltese for 鈧?00

You will not find a purebred Maltese under $400, or any purebred, from a reputable breeder. Your best bet is to check for Maltese rescues in your area, you can sometimes find purebreds under $400, or you should settle on a mixed breed from your local shelter. Are there any baby, female Maltese for sale in Bergen County, NJ?

Help any tea cup yorkie or maltese for sale?
my daughter has been crying for a littly puppy and i cant take it no more i feel bad , but i can afford one i am willing to pay only from
$0- 200 i live in the are of florida please help me to find a place or somewhere to get one at a cheap price .Help any tea cup yorkie or maltese for sale?
There is no such thing as a 'teacup'. They are not recognized by the AKC as an actual breed size, the smallest breed size recognized is toy. All 'teacup' dogs are are the runts of toy dogs bred together by backyard breeders to create tiny, sickly dogs with a cutesey name tacked on. They are scams, and only backyard breeders breed them.
Please don't support the backyard breeders and mill breeders who produce these poor animals. You will only end up with a short lived, sickly dog that will cost you an absolute fortune in vet bills.

For starters, there is no such thing as a teacup dog. It's a marketing term used by unethical breeders to describe dogs bred to be extremely small with no regard to the overall health of the animal. These are the types of breeders you should avoid at all costs.
I would suggest that before you decide to get a dog, you take the time to research yourself on the breed first so that you can make a more educated decision when selecting a dog.
If your funds are limited, your best bet is to check with a rescue or shelter. Breeding is not a cheap venture once you add up all the costs a breeder has to invest for stock, show fees, grooming and whelping supplies, time, genetic and medical testing, etc. They have to cover their costs by charging for the pups they decide to place. It's unrealistic and a bit insulting to breeders to expect a discount or hand out--it sends the signal that the dog is not worth what they have invested in it.
No offense, but toy breeds are not always ideal to have in a home with young children. As a breeder, I would not feel comfortable placing one of my dogs in a home where the child is still young/immature enough to cry and demand things that they want and where the parent gives in to what the child wants instead of what is best.
You aren't going to find a ';tea cup'; yorkie for that much. You can probably find a normal healthy yorkie for 200 at a shelter but I wouldn't hold your breath. Yorkshire Terriers are the second most popular breed right now in the U.S. Why do you think you can find one for free or 200 bucks. Why not try to find a XBOX 360 for 50 bucks a Ferrari for 10,000 bucks and a brand new mansion for 70,000. Now do you understand ho absurd you sound. Also, Yorkshire Terriers and Maltese don't go good around small children because they want all of your attention and children tend to hurt Yorkshire without trying and the Yorkshire Terrier could become aggressive or fearful of the children.
Highly unlikely you'll find anybody willing to sell any ';teacups'; for $200 or less. Only way is if you can find someone that needs to give it away because of personal circumstances.
Check site below. Has links to pet classifieds. Try US Freeads and go from there. Enter your zip code and you鈥檒l find someone who has what you want near you. These sites also allow free ads to be placed so you can do that if you like. Sites cover all over the world.
To get a healthy dog, small or not will likely cost well over $200.00. Look at local rescues or petfinder.com. This will probably still be more than you budget.
Consider how much this dog will cost in the long run (spay/neuter, shots, well pet visits, licenses, food, training aids, obedience classes etc.)
A small dog can be easily a 15 year commitment. Teach your daughter a life lesson, we don't always get what we want and unless you have the means to take on a commitment, it's best to do without.
there's no such thing as a ';teacup'; anything.
Good luck finding a small purebred puppy for that cheap!
Why not just go down to your local shelter and find a puppy to adopt? You can find a puppy for adoption there.. maybe you will get lucky and find a yorkie or maltese. www.petfinder.com
Don't get a puppy.....especially a ';teacup.'; It dosent exist...its like saying you want a Unicorn. Any breeder who claims to breed ';teacups'; is a horrible breeder...also people who sell those sickly runts usually want thousands. Don't get your daughter a dog, if you cant pay more than $200....how will you pay for the vet bills and supplies?
Did you think about going to the Animal Rescue and getting an older dog with her less headaches of puppy training. And you would be saving a life. Try pet finders under adoption.

There's no such thing as a ';teacup maltese'; - only ';poorly bred runts sold by unethical breeders to gullible idiots who will shell out bucks for a sickly puppy because they don't know that there's no such thing as a 'teacup maltese'.';
But no, there is no ';teacup maltese';. Anyone who tries to sell you one is trying to rip you off.
Kate - I really really really hope you didn't pay money for a thrice-mixed breed... I guess some people really are that gullible...
By the way - it's a DOG, not a FASHION ACCESSORY.

Are there any cheap Maltese for sale in Edison,NJ?
I have already gone on petfinder.com and the dogs were just too far away or I wasn't looking for that specific kind. Are there any cheap Maltese for sale in Edison,NJ?
Please contact the American Maltese Association (link below) for a listing of reputable breeders or recommended rescue groups in your area.
Good Luck! Are there any cheap Maltese for sale in Edison,NJ?
No dog from a reputable breeder would sell cheap dogs.
Now, You can find a cheap dog from a Back Yard Breeder or Puppy MIll, but I wouldn't recommend it. All of the dogs from their, come with serious health problems.
For you, I recommend looking on petfinder.com Don't give up! A dog in your area will show up. Give it time. May I also recommend that you look for a Maltese Rescue group. It can be found here:
https://www.netpets.org/dogs/dogresc/bre鈥?/a>
You could also try www.craigslist.com People look to rehome their dogs all the time on their.
So, I gave you a few suggestions. Keep on looking at Petfinder. Find a Maltese Rescue Group, or look on craigslist.
Hope this Helps and Good Luck!
see if any member breeder has a dog that needs re-homed. sometimes because of death or a move people have to give their dogs back to the breeder.
A cheap Malteese will cost you LOADS in the long run. Better to go with a good quality, reputable breeder to save you money down the road.
look at ur local shelter, newspaper,or post something that will be in the newspaper and put up fliers puppy or old boy or girl ect.
